Is digitalization helping us to combat climate change or is it exacerbating it? What can a sustainable approach to data look like? How can we preserve our digital assets for future generations in the long term? Who bears the burden of our digital lives? To make it easier to get started, we have invited five experts to outline the various dimensions of digital sustainability. In online talks, we will look at the topic with them from different angles – we will discuss the environmental impact of digital applications, the interdependence with political and social problems, the sustainable use of knowledge and much more. Among the people invited are scientists, activists and artists who are actively involved in the topic in various initiatives.
